About The Position
We are a fast-paced Los Angeles-based immigration law firm specializing in O1 and EB1 visas, alongside a robust family-based immigration department. We are currently seeking a full-time Immigration Paralegal/Case Manager to assist with adjustment of status and consular immigrant visa applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, particularly with family and employment-based green card applications, and will be responsible for preparing and filing petitions, applications, and responses for various types of immigrant and non-immigrant visas, including I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131, and DS-260. In this role, you will effectively communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and keep them informed about the status of their cases. You will prepare procedural information and document checklists for clients, ensuring that all required materials are collected in a timely manner. Additionally, you will manage cases to ensure that all deadlines are met and escalate any issues to the attorney or supervisor as needed. The position also involves administering the case management system and regularly tracking case statuses to maintain organization and efficiency. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, able to prioritize projects, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. The ability to work with interruptions and take ownership of your work is essential. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and should be prepared to work in person in Los Angeles, with the possibility of remote work one day per week after the training period.
