About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law and be passionate about assisting clients through the complexities of the immigration process. This position requires a proactive approach to managing immigration cases and providing exceptional support to our attorneys and clients. The Immigration Paralegal will play a crucial role in ensuring that all legal documents are prepared accurately and filed in a timely manner, while also maintaining organized case files and documentation. In this role, you will conduct legal research on immigration laws and regulations, assist attorneys in preparing immigration cases, including family-based petitions, adjustment of status, naturalization, and asylum applications. You will manage client communication, providing updates on case statuses, and prepare and file legal documents with government agencies. Attention to detail is essential, as you will be responsible for proofreading legal documents for accuracy and completeness. Additionally, you will assist with data entry and document management systems to ensure that all information is up-to-date and accessible. Join our team and contribute to helping individuals navigate the complex immigration process with professionalism and compassion. This is a full-time position with an expected workload of 40 hours per week, and you will be working in person at our office located at 14411 Cornerstone Village Drive, Houston, TX 77014.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research on immigration laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Proficiency in immigration law procedures and documentation
  • Experience with document management systems
  • Strong knowledge of legal research techniques
  • Excellent file organization skills
  • Paralegal experience: 1 year (Required)
  • Immigration law experience: 1 year (Required)
