This position will report to the Senior Manager of Legal Practice Support and is available in the firm's Washington DC, Dallas, Miami, or San Francisco offices. The firm offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement that allows for both in-office and remote work. The Immigration Paralegal will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys with the preparation and filing of a wide range of immigrant and non-immigrant petitions and applications, with a particular focus on writing-intensive cases such as O-1 and I-140 petitions for Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researcher, and National Interest Waiver categories. Additionally, the paralegal will track and manage critical deadlines, run active case workloads, and generate client NIV expiration reports. Participation in team meetings and continuing education programs or seminars is also expected, along with entering and closing time entries in the firm's time recording system. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a preference for majors in Journalism, Communication, or Creative Writing. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for effectively interfacing with all levels of personnel and external clients. After initial training, the paralegal should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
