About the position

The Immigration Paralegal at The Law Offices of Marjan Kasra, LLC will support the firm's focus on immigration law, specifically in areas such as EB-5, L-1, E-2, and family-based immigration visa categories. The role involves managing various tasks related to immigration applications, client communication, and administrative support, ensuring efficient operations within the firm.

Responsibilities

• Filing immigration applications and preparing cover letters to USCIS & NVC.
• Document assembly for USCIS & NVC.
• Tracking immigration case status and communicating with U.S. Consular posts globally.
• Answering calls and recording information on incoming calls.
• Managing the Attorney's calendar and acting as a liaison with the office in Dubai.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with an Immigration Law Firm or with USCIS.
• Experience in filing immigration applications and preparing cover letters.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with little direction.

Nice-to-haves

• Second language proficiency is preferred but not required.
