About the position

The Immigration Paralegal at Wilens & Baker, P.C. is responsible for supporting immigration-related legal processes, particularly in family-based petitions and other immigration applications. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as fluency in Spanish, to effectively assist clients and manage case files.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing clients to gather necessary information for immigration applications.
• Organizing and maintaining case files and documentation.
• Preparing immigration applications and supportive evidence for submission.
• Tracking the progress of applications and cases to ensure timely processing.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in immigration law, specifically in family-based petitions, adjustment of status, consular process, naturalization, waiver applications, TPS, and U visas.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary.
• Punctuality and the ability to work well with others are important.

Nice-to-haves

• An Associate's degree is preferred.
