About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our legal team in Glendale, AZ. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various immigration matters, manage case files, conduct legal research, and assist with the preparation of immigration applications and petitions. This role is crucial for ensuring that all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner, with a preference for candidates who are multilingual, particularly in Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research related to immigration law and procedures.
  • Manage case files using document management systems, ensuring all information is organized and accessible.
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of client information and case status.
  • Draft correspondence, legal documents, and reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for their cases.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations to provide informed support.
  • Support the administrative functions of the office, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of paralegal or similar legal administrative experience.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent research skills with attention to detail in legal documentation.
  • Familiarity with personal injury law or family law is a plus.
  • Proficiency in document management systems for efficient case handling.
  • Exceptional written communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
