About The Position

The Bilingual Immigration Paralegal will support a growing law firm by providing exceptional legal assistance and client service, particularly to Spanish-speaking clients. This role involves managing case files, preparing legal documents, and ensuring efficient communication between clients and attorneys. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal or in a law office setting; immigration law experience is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with legal software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in immigration law is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients, providing interpretation and translation services as needed.
• Manage the attorney's busy calendar, including scheduling hearings, client meetings, and deadlines.
• Draft, proofread, and edit various legal documents, including correspondence, motions, and legal forms.
• Maintain well-organized client files, ensuring all documents are scanned, filed, and readily accessible.
• Facilitate clear communication and workflow within the team, proactively identifying tasks to improve office efficiency.
