About the position
The Immigration Specialist at PDS Defense, Inc. is responsible for managing immigration processes and ensuring compliance with federal immigration laws. This role involves coordinating with immigration vendors, overseeing visa and permanent residency applications, and serving as the primary point of contact for immigration-related inquiries within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee immigration processes and procedures to ensure compliance with federal laws.
- Coordinate legal advice and recommendations from immigration vendors.
- Manage U.S. immigration operations including initiations, renewals, and application reviews.
- Act as the main interface for immigration matters, collaborating with HR and management.
- Provide regular updates and reports on immigration cases and vendor performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in immigration workflows.
- Document and map immigration processes for standard operational procedures.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in US immigration or global mobility in a large manufacturing or immigration law firm setting.
- Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task effectively.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
