Kelly Government Solutions is seeking an experienced Immunology Research Scientist to join the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Gaithersburg, MD. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing various neutralization assays, maintaining specimen samples, and ensuring laboratory compliance with Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) guidelines. The Immunology Research Scientist will be proficient with automated liquid handling systems and data management programs, and will work collaboratively within a BSL-2 laboratory environment. This position is critical in contributing to clinical trial evaluations and ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency in all laboratory operations. The contractor will perform routine cell culture using aseptic techniques, conduct reverse genetic rescues, evaluate human and animal samples in clinical trials, analyze trial data, develop validation protocols for assays, and maintain accurate documentation. The role also includes training analysts in assay protocols and ensuring compliance with GCLP guidelines while maintaining rapid turnaround times for specimen samples.
