About the position

As a Financial Analyst in the Impact Finance division, you will play a crucial role in managing the cash functions of U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Wire Transfer, ACH, and Accounts Payable transactions, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and controls. You will be tasked with recording journal entries and resolving any discrepancies related to CDC cash accounts promptly. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both internal and external partners, ensuring that all transactions are processed smoothly and efficiently. In addition to processing transactions, you will verify that all outgoing wire transfers, ACH, and Accounts Payable transactions adhere to documented processes. You will also assist in cash account reconciliation, which includes researching and resolving any reconciling items. Risk mitigation is a key aspect of this role, as you will ensure that all processes comply with the bank's regulatory standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders will be essential in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships. As part of your responsibilities, you may also support special projects as capacity allows, contributing to organizational initiatives and actively identifying and recommending improvements to existing processes and products. This position offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, requiring in-office attendance for three or more days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the cash management function of U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance.
  • Accurate and timely processing of Wire Transfer, ACH, and Accounts Payable transactions.
  • Record journal entries and resolve reconciling items related to CDC cash accounts.
  • Verify that all transactions adhere to documented processes and procedures.
  • Assist in cash account reconciliation and research reconciling items.
  • Ensure compliance with the bank's regulatory standards for risk mitigation.
  • Communicate effectively with external customers and internal partners to maintain positive relationships.
  • Support special projects and contribute to organizational initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Two or more years' experience in financial analysis activities.
