About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Broadband Implementation Business Development Manager with a strong background in program management to oversee the successful deployment of broadband services in our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the end-to-end implementation process, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality broadband services to our customers. This role is crucial in enabling progress and enhancing lives by providing reliable, high-speed connectivity solutions that keep the world connected. In this position, you will develop and execute comprehensive program plans for broadband implementation projects, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. You will monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential as you assess and plan the deployment of broadband infrastructure, including fiber optics, wireless, and other relevant technologies. Conducting feasibility studies and site assessments will also be part of your responsibilities to determine the most effective implementation strategies. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders is key, as you will provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and milestones. You will also address inquiries and concerns from customers, regulatory bodies, and community members. Additionally, you will develop and manage budgets for broadband implementation projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation while identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and milestones.
• Address inquiries and concerns from customers, regulatory bodies, and community members.
• Develop and manage budgets for broadband implementation projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in program management, particularly in broadband infrastructure deployment.
• In-depth knowledge of broadband technologies, including fiber optics, wireless networks, and related equipment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and permitting processes related to broadband implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
• Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
• Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information System) tools is an advantage.

• 5+ years customer facing interaction and problem-solving experience preferred.
