About the position

The Implementation Consultant, Client Success at Tyler Technologies is responsible for delivering high-quality knowledge transfer services to clients, ensuring they can effectively utilize Tyler software products for their daily operations. This role involves consulting with clients to understand their workflow and technical requirements, facilitating knowledge transfer sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition to Tyler software within predetermined timelines. The consultant also plays a key role in troubleshooting client issues and maintaining positive client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional services such as consultation, software readiness, and education to clients on Tyler software products.
  • Design and conduct knowledge transfer sessions on-site or through webinars.
  • Educate users on software functionality, data entry, system administration, user security, and user permissions.
  • Perform consultation/analysis of client business model to identify and document client requirements regarding Tyler products and functionality.
  • Recommend options for new approaches in client work processes to ensure efficient software solutions.
  • Identify and document business/technical requirement specifications for software design/development, forms, reports, interfaces, and processes.
  • Consult with users to identify the proper data mapping process for product conversion and provide instruction on data conversions.
  • Create custom reports or customize existing reports to meet client requirements.
  • Troubleshoot client issues and collaborate with Support or Development departments to resolve them.
  • Document client issues, communicate agendas, and submit trip reports, timesheets, and expense reports.
  • Assist QA staff with product testing or modification testing as required.
  • Notify management of issues or unplanned events that could impact implementation effectiveness.
  • Create client-facing and internal documentation such as "quick tips" and "how-tos."
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the company's technical staff, conveying technical information in an understandable manner.
  • Participate in the annual User Conference and facilitate user group discussions on assigned topics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience.
  • Typically a minimum of one year experience as an Associate Implementation Consultant or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of principles and concepts relevant to the knowledge transfer process.
  • Exceptional presentation and knowledge transfer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
