About the position

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for delivering high-quality knowledge transfer services to clients, enabling them to effectively utilize standard Tyler interfaces for their daily operations. This role ensures a smooth transition to these interfaces within set timelines and fosters a positive relationship between the client and Tyler Technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional services such as consultation, interface readiness, and education to clients on Tyler interface products.
  • Design and conduct knowledge transfer sessions on site or through webinars.
  • Educate users on interface functionality, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Recommend options for new approaches in client work processes to ensure efficient interface solutions.
  • Identify and document business/technical requirement specifications for interface design/development and other relevant changes.
  • Document client issues, communicate agendas, and submit trip reports, timesheets, and expense reports.
  • Assist QA staff with product testing or modification testing as required.
  • Notify management of issues or unplanned events that could impact implementation effectiveness.
  • Create client-facing and internal documentation such as "quick tips" and "how tos."
  • Act as a liaison between the client and company's technical staff, conveying technical information in an understandable manner.
  • Participate in the annual User Conference and facilitate user group discussions.

Requirements

  • Currently resides in Pacific Standard Time Zone or Mountain Standard Time Zone.
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience, preferably in accounting, payroll, or ERP Software implementation.
  • Minimum of one year experience as an Associate Implementation Consultant or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of principles and concepts relevant to knowledge transfer.
  • Exceptional presentation and knowledge transfer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and Microsoft Office products (SQL, IIS, Excel).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
