About the position

The Implementation Engineer at Quasset will play a crucial role in the Innovation Services team, focusing on the development, testing, and implementation of robotic and mixed reality technologies to enhance Asset Integrity Management in the energy sector. This position involves managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of solutions to clients, and collaborating with various stakeholders and technology partners.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing, validation and innovation projects to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of robotic systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical and operational feasibility of projects.
  • Learn to operate a wide range of robotic systems and payloads for inspection and maintenance work.
  • Support integration and management of change at client facilities.
  • Provide training to clients on new technologies and systems.
  • Carry out field trials and pilots to validate solutions.
  • Manage a portfolio of activities in support of the SPRINT Robotics Collaborative.
  • Successfully execute and deliver projects on time and within budget and scope.
  • Write project proposals in close communication with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external tasks and activities to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

  • Technical background, BSc/MSc level, preferably in engineering, science or mechatronics.
  • At least three years of practical experience with new technologies in a technical/operational environment, preferably in the petrochemical or energy industry.
  • Excellent presentation and client-facing skills.
  • Hands-on engineering experience in robotics testing and validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent soft skills and awareness of the needs of stakeholders across many cultures and nationalities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - business-proficient and fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel and execute field work trials.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and positive attitude, able to work independently and as a team player.
