About the position

The Implementation Manager at Crane Worldwide Logistics is a pivotal role that involves partnering with various business units, sales, and management to develop and execute implementation project plans. This position requires the establishment of an implementation team and effective communication of global projects across the company. The Implementation Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, ISO guidelines, and other regulatory requirements associated with the projects. A key aspect of this role includes assisting in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training the implementation team and staff on these requirements. Monitoring performance metrics and measurements related to individuals, teams, processes, and projects is essential. The Implementation Manager must utilize effective communication and negotiation skills to resolve critical or escalated issues that may affect clients, staff, or senior management. Conducting post-mortem assessments of project performance, both operationally and financially, is also a critical responsibility. Staying updated on emerging technology changes and innovations through various means such as networking and professional organizations is expected. In addition to these responsibilities, the Implementation Manager should possess experience in transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations, along with proficiency in project management methodologies. The role demands strong leadership skills to influence departments and manage change effectively. Building collaborative relationships and maintaining stable performance under pressure are also vital characteristics for success in this position. The Implementation Manager will work in a dynamic environment that requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • At least 5 years industry experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory or managerial experience required.
  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.
  • Must complete PI assessment to be considered for the position.
