About the position

The Implementation Manager at McKesson is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of BioPharma programs. This role involves managing cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects from design to completion, while addressing project issues and maintaining productivity, quality, and client satisfaction. The Implementation Manager serves as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, including BioPharma manufacturers and senior leadership, and is tasked with creating detailed work plans, schedules, and status reports.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and implementation of BioPharma programs.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery from design to completion.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Conduct internal and external meetings to communicate project status and updates.
  • Interface with all areas affected by the project, including pharmacy operations and finance.
  • Regularly report project status to senior leadership, including C-suite executives.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in client-facing cross-departmental program management or project management.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing projects across functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to set clear expectations and hold self and others accountable.
  • Executive presence and comfort in presenting to large groups, both in person and virtually.
  • Customer-focused and a team player.
  • High level of initiative and self-starter attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, including SmartSheet.
  • Six Sigma or PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
