About the position

The Implementation Project Manager I at ADP Retirement Services is responsible for managing the entire 401k implementation process for clients, serving as the key client owner and single point of contact. This role involves overseeing project management from the point of sale through the transition to ongoing Client Services, ensuring successful implementation and compliance with legal responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Project manages work of several internal departments, client, financial advisors and client's prior recordkeeper to ensure a successful implementation.
  • Perform welcome call and explain the implementation process to the client, ensuring understanding of necessary actions for success.
  • Assist client with prior recordkeeper notification and obtaining a liquidation date.
  • Provide the client with a blackout notice and explain legal responsibilities for timely notice to plan participants.
  • Manage the transfer of plan assets and participant records by communicating with current providers and internal ADP departments.
  • Establish Payroll Input call to review payroll deductions and compliance coding with the client.
  • Work with client, prior recordkeepers, and internal ADP parties on missing information needed for conversion.
  • Responsible for preparation and distribution of all applicable client conversion communication.
  • Responsible for documentation based on department standards and coordination of seamless transition to Client Services.
  • Monitors and communicates conversion status regularly with client, sales, and financial advisors.
  • Evaluates, assesses, and recommends solutions to questions/issues surfaced from clients and internal departments regarding implementation.
  • Consults with clients on non-standard issues and works on exception-related processes requested by clients.
  • Responsible for review of conversion data and records prior to plan being moved to production go-live.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Education & Experience
  • 1-3 Years of directly related experience
