About the position

The Project Manager for Mergers & Acquisitions at Solis Mammography is a pivotal role that encompasses the entire lifecycle of projects, from initiation through execution, delivery, and closeout. This position is hybrid, allowing for both onsite and remote work, which provides flexibility while ensuring that the Project Manager can effectively coordinate with various teams and stakeholders. The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to ensure successful development and execution of project plans that require significant coordination and collaboration across different organizational departments and external stakeholders. In this role, the Project Manager will partner with project leaders and sponsors to define the vision, critical success factors, and roadmap for projects. They will lead projects through their lifecycle, ensuring that results are delivered not only to the company and its partners but most importantly, to the patients. The ideal candidate will be action and results-oriented, possessing strong communication skills, both written and spoken, along with leadership, negotiation, and business case development skills. Anticipating obstacles and proactively managing solutions to mitigate or eliminate them is crucial for success in this role. The Project Manager will also be responsible for organizing and delegating tasks, ensuring that all project materials and deliverables are completed on time. This may include creating content and materials such as analytic slides and executive summaries. Creative problem-solving and adaptability are essential traits, as the Project Manager must navigate challenges and adapt projects creatively to avoid mishaps and losses. Additionally, motivating and managing team members and stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle is vital to ensure top-quality results and timely completion of deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the lifecycle of projects from initiation through execution, delivery, and closeout.
  • Coordinate teams and tasks for successful development and execution of project plans.
  • Partner with project leaders and sponsors to define project vision and critical success factors.
  • Lead projects through their lifecycle to deliver results to the company and its partners.
  • Anticipate obstacles and proactively manage solutions to mitigate or eliminate them.
  • Organize and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of project materials and deliverables.
  • Create content and materials such as analytic slides and executive summaries.
  • Motivate and manage team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience or a four-year degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
  • Experience with new facility openings highly preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills are required.
  • Experience with hospital joint ventures preferred.
  • Direct experience with radiology systems, including functionality, performance, requirements, interoperability, and user roles preferred.
  • Ability to define a business problem and business requirements.
  • Knowledge of applications, technology, and processes used in a healthcare setting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Smartsheet preferred.
  • Ability to quickly understand new applications.
