About the position

The Implementation Project Manager at Owens & Minor is a customer-facing role responsible for implementing the QSight inventory management system within healthcare settings. This position focuses on enhancing inventory utilization and patient charge capture by integrating with health systems' IT infrastructures. The role involves leading supply chain consulting initiatives, analyzing data, and presenting strategic recommendations to stakeholders, including senior executives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and demonstrates proficiency in a business or clinical discipline integral to consulting engagements.
  • Leads supply chain consulting project initiatives/work streams.
  • Gathers, researches, analyzes, and evaluates data to produce strategic recommendations.
  • Summarizes key findings and presents recommendations to stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Performs supply chain analytics, process mapping, and project status updates under the direction of the project leader.
  • Reports project progress against deliverable, quality, cost, and schedule expectations.
  • Supports projects to improve revenue, margin, customer retention, and efficiencies through cross-functional team participation.
  • Provides on-site support at hospitals for implementation, training, go-lives, upgrades, and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Experience with QSight or similar inventory management system in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • PMP Certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain management and consulting principles.
  • Competencies in communication, project management, presentation, process design, data analytics, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to identify and communicate opportunities to project leadership and internal O&M leadership.
  • Ability to manage small consulting engagements and project teams (1-3 teammates) and work independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare consulting or project management.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
