About the position

The Implementation Project Manager at Owens & Minor is a customer-facing role focused on implementing the QSight inventory management system within healthcare settings. This position is integral to enhancing supply chain efficiency and improving patient care through effective project management and collaboration with healthcare clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in business or clinical disciplines essential for consulting engagements.
• Lead supply chain consulting project initiatives and work streams.
• Gather, research, analyze, and evaluate data to produce strategic recommendations.
• Summarize findings and present recommendations to stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Perform supply chain analytics, process mapping, and project status updates under project leader direction.
• Report project progress against deliverables, quality, cost, and schedule expectations.
• Support projects aimed at improving revenue, margin, customer retention, and efficiencies through cross-functional team participation.
• Provide on-site support for implementation, training, go-lives, upgrades, and enhancements.

Requirements

• Experience with QSight or similar inventory management systems in a hospital or clinical setting.
• PMP Certification is preferred.
• Understanding of supply chain management and consulting principles.
• Competencies in communication, project management, presentation, process design, data analytics, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage small consulting engagements and project teams (1-3 teammates).
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in healthcare consulting or project management.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
