About the position

The Implementation Project Manager at Owens & Minor is a customer-facing role responsible for implementing the QSight inventory management system within healthcare settings. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing inventory management and improving patient charge capture by integrating with health systems' IT infrastructures. The role involves leading supply chain consulting projects, analyzing data, and presenting strategic recommendations to stakeholders, including senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in business or clinical disciplines integral to consulting engagements.
• Lead supply chain consulting project initiatives and work streams.
• Gather, research, analyze, and evaluate data to produce actionable recommendations.
• Summarize key findings and present recommendations to stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Perform supply chain analytics, process mapping, and project status updates under project leader direction.
• Report project progress against deliverables, quality, cost, and schedule expectations.
• Support projects to improve revenue, margin, customer retention, and efficiencies through cross-functional team participation.
• Be on-site at hospitals to support implementation, training, go-lives, upgrades, and enhancements.

Requirements

• Experience with QSight or similar inventory management systems in a hospital or clinical setting.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Understanding of supply chain management and consulting principles.
• Competencies in communication, project management, presentation, process design, data analytics, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify and communicate opportunities to expand the scope of existing engagements.
• Experience managing small consulting engagements and project teams (1-3 teammates).
