About the position

The Implementation Project Manager at Owens & Minor is a customer-facing role responsible for implementing QSight, an inventory management system that integrates with healthcare IT infrastructures. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing inventory utilization and patient charge capture, ensuring that the company's mission to empower healthcare advancement is met. The role involves leading supply chain consulting projects, analyzing data, and presenting strategic recommendations to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in business or clinical disciplines integral to consulting engagements.
• Lead supply chain consulting project initiatives and work streams.
• Gather, research, analyze, and evaluate data to produce actionable recommendations.
• Summarize key findings and present recommendations to stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Perform supply chain analytics, process mapping, and project status updates under project leader direction.
• Report project progress against deliverables, quality, cost, and schedule expectations.
• Support projects to improve revenue, margin, customer retention, and efficiencies through cross-functional team participation.
• Be on-site at hospitals to support implementation, training, go-lives, upgrades, and enhancements.

Requirements

• Experience with QSight or similar inventory management systems in a hospital or clinical setting.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of supply chain management and consulting principles.
• Competencies in communication, project management, presentation, process design, data analytics, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to identify and communicate opportunities to project leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage small consulting engagements and project teams (1-3 teammates) independently.
