About the position

The Fleet Implementation Project Manager at U.S. Bank is responsible for leading the implementation of the fleet card program for a diverse client base. This role involves collaborating with various teams, consulting with clients to understand their needs, and ensuring effective project delivery through strong communication and project management skills. The position requires a blend of technical knowledge and leadership capabilities to drive solutions and promote operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multi-functional team to implement the fleet card program.
  • Drive solution delivery in a customer-facing role, interfacing with logistics, finance, and IT functions.
  • Consult with client teams to translate fleet card requirements from external customers.
  • Influence client adherence to industry best practices for operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate system solutions design, integration, validation testing, and training activities.
  • Assure implementation project schedule and delivery effectiveness using project management controls.
  • Refine and exercise a diverse range of functional, leadership, and professional skills with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in project management activities.
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced knowledge of assigned business line or functional area within Treasury Services and products.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
