About the position
The Import and Export Analyst at CET Logistics is responsible for managing shipping documentation and ensuring compliance with US export regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in client service and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The analyst will work closely with shippers, customs brokers, and clients to facilitate smooth shipping operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze shipping documents, purchase orders, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Contact shippers for OS&D and/or amendments on shipping documents.
- Create Material Receipts.
- Create internal and external reports on a weekly basis.
- Create commercial invoices and packing lists.
- Understand US Export Regulations at a basic level.
- Send pre-alerts.
- Prepare shipping quotations.
- Act as a liaison between the shipping coordinator, customs broker, and client.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
- 1 year experience with shipping documentation preferred.
- 1 year experience with client service preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and Portuguese preferred.
- Ability to work as a team and independently.
