About the position

The Import and Marketing Manager at Ingredientrade.com Inc is responsible for managing logistics and import operations for processed foodstuffs distributed to industrial users. This role involves working closely with suppliers and clients globally, ensuring timely deliveries and handling documentation for import clearance. The position also includes sales-related responsibilities as an Industry Sales Assistant, making it a multifaceted role in international trade.

Responsibilities

• Track sales pricing and freight quotations
• Do cost analysis for new quotations to clients using Excel and Outlook
• Handle documentation for import clearance and client requirements
• Manage office requirements such as sampling and sample inventory
• Coordinate activities with freight carriers for timely deliveries, including customs clearance, ocean freight, and inland trucking

Requirements

• A four-year degree
• Minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills
• Spanish language skills are helpful
• Strong work ethic and self-motivated
• Strong understanding of business operations
• Ability to work efficiently in both team and individual settings
• Enthusiasm and resiliency
• Experience in import/export operations is highly preferred
