About the position

The In Home Caregiver position at Guardian Angel Senior Services involves providing compassionate care to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes. Caregivers will perform various tasks including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care assistance, while also offering companionship and support to clients. The role is flexible, allowing caregivers to work part-time or full-time, and training is provided for candidates without prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping duties including vacuuming, dusting, dry mopping, laundry, changing bed linens, and cleaning kitchen & bathroom.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client.
• Assist with shopping errands, picking up groceries or medicines.
• Provide companionship and engage in clients' regular activities like walking and social engagements.
• Observe and report any unusual incidents.
• Assist client mobility around the house.
• Deliver personal care services such as medicine reminders and personal hygiene assistance.
