About the position
The Home Caregiver position at BrightStar Care of The Mid Ohio Valley involves providing essential personal and companionship care services to seniors in their homes. Responsibilities
- Provide various personal and companionship care services to meet client needs.
- Assist clients with daily tasks such as feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.
- Support clients with mobility work as defined in their care plan and document any observed changes to the Director of Nursing.
Requirements
- One (1) year of caregiver experience preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
- Licensed driver with an insured and reliable automobile and proof of insurance.
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
