About the position

Midnight Sun Home Care is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide non-medical assistance to seniors in the Anchorage area. This role offers flexible shifts, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to become a Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) within a year. Caregivers will be responsible for supporting clients with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation and personal care
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
• Document patient care and report any changes in condition
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation
• Negative TB Test
• Clear State of Alaska background check
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of caregiving experience (preferred)
