About the position
AmanaCare is seeking compassionate and dependable non-medical caregivers to provide personalized in-home assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities or recovering from illness. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and immediate openings, allowing caregivers to work based on their availability while building meaningful relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship to clients
- Assist with meal preparation
- Perform laundry duties
- Remind clients to take medications
- Assist with bathing and dressing
- Conduct light housekeeping tasks
- Run errands and provide transportation
- Assist with transferring clients
- Provide pet assistance
Requirements
- Must be 19 years or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Reliable transportation needed
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in in-home or residential health care
- Experience as a paraprofessional or direct support professional
