About the position
The In-Home Caregiver position involves providing personalized support and assistance to patients in their homes, ensuring they can maintain their independence and quality of life. Caregivers will work one-on-one with clients, helping with daily living activities and household tasks while fostering meaningful connections with patients and their families. Responsibilities
- Provide support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for clients.
- Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager.
- Notify the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
- Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations when business travel is required.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and transferring patients.
- Perform household tasks essential to the client's personal care.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Six months of experience in home care preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet patient needs.
- Ability to function in diverse home situations regardless of the patient's background.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work harmoniously with clients and their families.
