About the position

FootPrints Home Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated part-time caregivers to provide essential support to families in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. Caregivers will have flexible scheduling options and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those they serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes.
• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience (professional or personal).
• Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background screening.
• Must be able to perform physical job requirements including lifting up to 35lbs and pushing or pulling up to 70lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Hoyer lift (preferred).
