About the position

The In Home Caregiver position at Almost Family, part of LHC Group, involves providing essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes, ensuring they can maintain their independence and quality of life. This role emphasizes building trusted relationships with clients of all ages while offering flexible scheduling options for both part-time and full-time work. Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for clients.
• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager.
• Notify the Agency Director immediately of any incidents or accidents.
• Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations when business travel is required.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral hygiene, nail care, skin care, and transferring patients.
• Assist with household tasks essential to clients' personal care.

Requirements

• Six months of experience in home care preferred.
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet patients' needs.
• Ability to function in diverse home situations regardless of the client's background.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Strong commitment to the organization's goals and philosophy.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in home care settings.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Aide.
