About the position

The In Home Family Services Worker position at Professional Counseling Center (PCC) offers a flexible work environment focused on providing in-home case management and strength-based interventions to families in St. Clair and Sanilac Counties. The role emphasizes balancing personal and professional life while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home case management and strength-focused interventions to families.
• Educate families on parenting, household management, relationship struggles, nutrition, relapse prevention, budgeting, and other skills.
• Work with clients to create a flexible work schedule that fits their lifestyle.
• Complete approximately 50% of work remotely, including paperwork, trainings, and some meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, family ecology, consumer/community services, family studies, family and/or child development, guidance/school counseling, counseling psychology, or criminal justice preferred.
• Associate's degree in the above programs with 60 college credits (half related to this field) acceptable with two years of experience.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required.

Nice-to-haves
