About the position

The In-Home Caregiver position at Luxury Management involves providing essential assistance to individuals in their homes, focusing on personal care, companionship, and monitoring health changes. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with dementia, and requires a compassionate and dedicated approach to caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• May be required to accompany clients to appointments and outings
• Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred
• Experience with dementia is a MUST!
• Knowledge of hospital medicine, geriatrics, PICU, or medical-surgical care is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Caregiver certification(s) are a plus!! (CNA, HHA, PCA, etc)

Nice-to-haves

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Preferred)
