About the position

Right at Home of Folsom Lake is seeking positive, mature, and cheerful In-Home Personal Assistant Caregivers to provide care in our client's homes and assist them with their basic daily needs. This position allows caregivers to be part of a team that helps senior citizens retain their independence and live safely in their own homes. As an In-Home Personal Assistant Caregiver, you will arrive for each shift determined to treat your clients with respect and kindness. You will provide individualized physical, psychological, and social support based on each client's care plan. Responsibilities include monitoring medications, assisting with meal preparation, and helping with daily hygiene routines such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, and dressing. You will also assist with home housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and general upkeep, while promoting safety in the home. Additionally, you may run errands and provide transportation as needed. Keeping accurate records of food consumption and other care-related details is crucial to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients. Your attention to detail and accuracy will help safeguard clients' personal belongings and maintain discretion with their private information. Reporting any changes in clients' conditions to your supervisor is essential to ensure all their needs are met. Although this job can be challenging, your positive attitude, compassion, and patience will contribute to your success as an In-Home Personal Assistant Caregiver.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid Driver License with a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and registration
