About The Position

The Recovery Coach serves a vital role in assessing, coordinating, and providing direct services to clients, particularly Laborers Union members enrolled in Project Courage's In-Home Recovery Services Program. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about supporting and empowering those on their recovery journey. The Recovery Coach will conduct thorough assessments of clients' recovery needs, design and deliver personalized recovery coaching sessions, and provide essential education and resources related to addiction and recovery. Advocacy for access to addiction treatment and support services is a key component of this role, requiring a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by clients in maintaining their recovery and accessing necessary services. In this position, the Recovery Coach will apply their knowledge of In Home Recovery Services to assist clients and their families effectively. They will work collaboratively with clients to identify their hopes, strengths, accomplishments, and challenges, helping to develop tailored recovery wellness plans based on comprehensive assessments. The Recovery Coach will also support clients in managing crises and self-management situations, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to navigate their recovery journey successfully. This role involves exploring various recovery tracks, such as AA/NA or alternative options, and utilizing knowledge from the Recovery Coach Academy to enhance service delivery. Documentation is a critical aspect of the Recovery Coach's responsibilities, including entering participant data into the Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system, managing client documentation, and ensuring compliance with established quality and regulatory standards. The Recovery Coach will coordinate with the Wellness Team and other Project Courage staff, assisting clients in accessing necessary services and supports to promote community integration and inclusion. Regular participation in supervision and team reviews is expected to maintain high standards of service delivery and documentation accuracy.
