NY State Solar is seeking motivated In-Home Sales Consultants to join their dynamic team in Kew Gardens, NY. This role focuses on educating homeowners about solar energy options, generating leads, and guiding customers through the sales process. The position offers a base salary plus uncapped commissions, providing significant income potential for top performers. Responsibilities
- Canvass local territories to generate leads.
- Educate homeowners about available solar programs and collect necessary documentation for proposals.
- Follow up with self-generated leads to secure contracts.
- Communicate proposals effectively during in-home presentations.
- Maintain and update information in the CRM (Salesforce).
- Discuss finances and tax liabilities with homeowners.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in in-home sales.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using CRM software (Salesforce) and other communication platforms (Email, Chatter, WhatsApp).
- Ability to discuss financial matters confidently with homeowners.
- High energy, urgency, and ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment.
