About the position

The In-Home Sales Manager at Columbus Worthington Air is responsible for leading and motivating a sales team to achieve performance targets in the residential and light commercial HVAC market. This role involves overseeing sales operations, training team members, and ensuring that the service team meets its objectives. The manager will also analyze market conditions and drive revenue growth while fostering a collaborative environment across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly performance targets and goals as determined by the General Manager.
  • Drive revenue and conversion for the HVAC division.
  • Act as a technical trainer and resource for the sales advisor team, focusing on building science and energy efficiency improvements.
  • Hire, educate, stimulate, and guide each advisor to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Lead weekly sales meetings to discuss strategy and selling skills.
  • Present accurate reports to the sales management team weekly.

Requirements

  • 5 years of in-home sales management experience is required.
  • Goal-driven with a desire to succeed in a metric-driven environment.
  • Highly structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with CRMs is a plus.
  • 2 years of in-home sales experience preferred.
