About the position

Wildhouse Ink is seeking an in-house 3D Designer to lead and support 3D design efforts for weddings and corporate events. This role involves collaborating with the Creative Director and other team members to create design concepts, manage projects, and ensure high-quality execution of design elements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the creative development and execution of all 3D design elements for medium to large-scale projects, including comprehensive layouts, accurate 3D models, and polished renderings for client presentations
• Work as part of a creative team, collaborating with other designers, the production team, and the Executive Creative Director to develop new design concepts
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners, such as printing companies and planners, to oversee production and guarantee the quality and timely arrival of materials and assets
• Develop original design concepts and art direction using mood boards and sketches
• Present design mock-ups, effectively communicating design decisions
• Maintain clear communication with clients, addressing their needs and incorporating feedback into revisions
• Design with consideration for project budgets and timelines
• Manage/coordinate the sourcing of props and decor to match with design concepts and project needs
• Create production-ready print files for the fabrication team
• Assist the production team with printing and assembling

Requirements

• 2-6 years of proven creative execution in graphic design
• Degree or significant experience in Experiential Design, Trade Show/Exhibition Design, Interior Design, or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop
• Proficiency in rendering programs such as SketchUp, Vectorworks or Blender
• Portfolio showcasing 3D renders of brand-related projects, graphic themes and conceptual art direction
• Strong graphic/typographic skills with a keen design eye
• Acute attention to detail
• Diligent follow-through on all aspects of the job
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Passion for keeping up with design trends
• Excellent collaboration and presentation skills
