The In-House Corporate Travel Agent is responsible for ensuring safe, cost-effective, efficient, reliable, and quality travel arrangements for Omni's travelers, which include employees from various departments such as crew, maintenance, ground services, and office personnel. This role requires a proactive approach to booking air, hotel, and ground travel, utilizing the AIMS HOTAC module and the Sabre GDS system for air bookings. The agent will handle travel-related requests, ensuring timely responses to crew travel inquiries and facilitating hotel and ground transportation bookings through designated vendors. The role also involves making VISA arrangements and managing communication regarding potential travel disruptions, such as flight delays or cancellations. The In-House Corporate Travel Agent must maintain a professional demeanor while interfacing with travelers and vendors, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a favorable company image and ensuring high-quality service delivery. In addition to travel arrangements, the agent will be responsible for communicating any operation-impacting travel issues to supervisors and managers, ensuring that all travel-related operations align with company policies.
