About the position

As a member of our Vacation Ownership business line, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience at our resort locations. Your primary responsibility will be to greet and serve resort guests, ensuring their arrival, check-in, and overall stay is as enjoyable and seamless as possible. You will assist the In House Marketer by guiding guests to the activities area, all while maintaining a professional appearance and a friendly demeanor towards both guests and fellow employees. In this role, you will provide personalized services to guests, addressing their inquiries about the resort's amenities, services, policies, local attractions, dining options, entertainment, and directions. Your ability to handle high customer demand in a hospitality environment is essential, as is your capacity to work independently or collaboratively with others. You will need to be adaptable, as the role requires frequent transitions between various activities. Additionally, physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ensuring you can assist guests effectively. This position offers a competitive compensation package, including an initial training wage of $15.00 per hour, plus commissions and bonuses. After the training period, compensation will align with the state's minimum wage, supplemented by commissions and bonuses. Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve resort guests during their stay.
  • Assist the In House Marketer by guiding guests to the activities area.
  • Provide personalized services to guests or refer requests to the appropriate department manager.
  • Answer inquiries regarding the resort's amenities, services, policies, area attractions, dining, entertainment, and directions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and a cordial attitude towards all guests and staff.
  • Ability to handle the stress of high customer demand in a hospitality environment.
  • Must be people-oriented and able to work independently or with others as needed.
  • Ability to easily and frequently change from one activity to another.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
