About the position

The In-House Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in the property management team, focusing on leasing residential units across a diverse portfolio. This full-time position requires a motivated individual who can effectively engage with prospective and current residents, ensuring high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Giving tours and showing available units to prospective residents
• Building relationships with current residents to encourage renewals
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market rents and trends
• Participating in marketing efforts to advertise vacancies
• Conducting Move-in, Move-out, and Periodic Condition Reports
• Serving as IRC's 'outside' manager, wearing an IRC uniform and using a vehicle with removable magnetic signs featuring the IRC logo and contact information
• Conducting drive-by inspections of all managed properties, documenting findings with photos and reports for the Owner portal
• Ensuring tenants are maintaining their units, including changing AC filters and keeping units clean
• Encouraging tenants to renew leases and facilitating necessary improvements while they are still renting

Requirements

• Active real estate license and access to MLS
• Proven experience in residential property leasing
• Sales-driven and goal-oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work weekends and some evenings
• Reliable transportation

Nice-to-haves

• Customer service experience (1 year preferred)
• Driver's License
