About the position

The In-House Marketing Supervisor at Travel + Leisure Co. plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and productivity of the In-House Marketing Team. This position involves direct supervision of staff, ensuring marketing standards are met, and coordinating with sales management to optimize tour flow and marketing programs. The role is essential for maintaining high levels of performance and customer service within the marketing department.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of In-House Marketing staff including interviewing, hiring, and training associates.
• Maintain total site marketing penetration standards set by management and run daily reports.
• Coordinate with In-House and Front Line sales management regarding tour seats and marketing programs.
• Maintain copies of invitations and daily tour manifests, resolving issues related to bookings and tour statuses.
• Order and maintain departmental supplies and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Two years of marketing experience, preferably in the vacation ownership industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coach, counsel, and motivate direct reports effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills, especially in handling upset owners.
• Ability to multi-task and negotiate effectively.
• Working knowledge of marketing databases.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with company systems such as Mainframe, Focus, and CRS.
