At Travel + Leisure Co., our mission is to put the world on vacation, and we are looking for an individual to assist the In-House Marketing Manager in overseeing the daily operations and productivity of the In-House Marketing Team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our marketing efforts are effective and that our team is well-managed and motivated. The successful candidate will play a key role in the interviewing, hiring, supervision, training, development, and performance management of associates within the team. The In-House Marketing Assistant will be responsible for the direct supervision of the In-House Marketing staff, which includes interviewing, hiring, and training new associates. This position requires planning, assigning, and directing work, conducting performance reviews, and providing motivation and rewards to team members. In cases where disciplinary action is necessary, the assistant will also be involved in conflict resolution and termination processes. This responsibility accounts for approximately 45% of the role's time. In addition to staff management, the assistant will maintain total site marketing penetration standards set by management. This includes running daily reports such as the Daily Arrival Report, Daily In-House Report, and Owner Arrival Report. The assistant will prepare daily and weekly status reports that include show factors and penetration rates, ensuring they are submitted in a timely manner for corporate deadlines. This reporting responsibility will take up about 30% of the role's time. Coordination with In-House and Front Line sales management is also a key aspect of this position, particularly regarding available tour seats and potential tour flow. The assistant will work closely with sales to address any new or changing marketing programs, which will take up about 10% of their time. Additionally, the assistant will maintain copies of invitations and daily tour manifests for reference, resolve issues related to tour statuses and bookings, and order and maintain departmental supplies. Other duties may be assigned as needed, accounting for the remaining 5% of the role's time.
