About the position

At Travel + Leisure Co., our mission is to put the world on vacation. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Vacation Ownership business line, which includes brands such as Club Wyndham, WorldMark by Wyndham, Margaritaville Vacation Club, Accor Vacation Club, and the newly launched Sports Illustrated Resorts. In this role, you will engage in in-person marketing with prospective and current owners at our resorts, helping to create exceptional vacation experiences for millions of travelers worldwide. As a brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations, you will partner with resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in. Your primary responsibility will be to greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour. You will screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines, make sales-tour reservations, and collect required deposits. This position requires a commitment to maintaining minimum performance goals while adhering to all company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements. In addition to your marketing responsibilities, you will be expected to attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings, keeping current on marketing information and industry trends. Setting and reviewing performance goals on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis will also be part of your role. This position is essential in ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience and that we continue to grow and innovate in the vacation ownership space.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations.
  • Partner with the resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in.
  • Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour.
  • Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines.
  • Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits.
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings.
  • Keep current on marketing information and materials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and set performance goals weekly, monthly, and annually.

Requirements

  • Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.
  • Must maintain production standards.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.
  • Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills and smart devices.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
