About the position

The In-House Marketing Coordinator at Marriott Vacations Worldwide in Waikiki, Honolulu, is responsible for enhancing guest experiences and managing sales presentations. This role focuses on providing exceptional service to owners and guests, ensuring they meet eligibility requirements for presentations, and utilizing persuasive techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty. Responsibilities

  • Schedule sales presentations and manage customer expectations.
  • Provide the highest level of service to exceed budgeted sales presentations and volume production goals.
  • Ensure that all Owners and guests attending a sales presentation meet eligibility requirements and are open to learning more about Marriott Vacation Club products and services.
  • Use persuasive techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Welcome and greet guests; anticipate and address their needs.
  • Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
  • Contribute to team goals.
  • Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Sales or customer service experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Concierge and/or sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in hospitality or marketing.
  • Experience in a sales environment.
