About the position

As an In-House Marketing Coordinator at Marriott Vacation Club in Waikiki, you will play a crucial role in our sales and marketing team, focusing on promoting the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations® Program. This position is ideal for individuals who are motivated, outgoing, and possess strong communication skills, particularly in both English and Japanese. You will be responsible for making pre- and post-arrival telemarketing calls, providing elevated concierge services to guests, and ensuring that all interactions are positive and productive. Your goal will be to exceed budgeted sales presentations and volume production goals while maintaining the highest level of service for our Owners and guests. In this role, you will schedule sales presentations and manage customer expectations effectively. You will also ensure that all Owners and guests attending a sales presentation meet eligibility requirements and are genuinely interested in learning more about our products and services. The position requires a flexible schedule, including the possibility of working weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of our guests and the business. Responsibilities

  • Make pre- and post-arrival telemarketing calls while offering elevated concierge services to all arriving Owners and guests.
  • Schedule sales presentations and manage customer expectations.

  • Ensure that all Owners and guests attending a sales presentation meet eligibility requirements and are open to learning more about Marriott Vacation Club products and services.

Requirements

  • Enjoy talking on the phone and/or interacting with guests in person
  • Bold persuasion skills
  • Computer skills
  • Stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Concierge, telemarketing and/or sales experience preferred
  • Fluent in Japanese (Read, Write and Speak)
