About the position

At Travel + Leisure Co., our mission is simple: to put the world on vacation. As an In-House Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our Vacation Ownership business line, which includes brands such as Club Wyndham, WorldMark by Wyndham, Margaritaville Vacation Club, Accor Vacation Club, and the newly launched Sports Illustrated Resorts. You will be responsible for engaging with prospective and current owners at our resorts, scheduling guests for presentations, and serving as a positive brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations. Your work will directly contribute to creating exceptional experiences for millions of travelers worldwide. In this role, you will partner with resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in, greet and present to prospective customers, and incentivize them to attend a sales-preview tour. You will also screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines, make sales-tour reservations, and collect required deposits. Your responsibilities will include maintaining compliance with company policies and performance goals while attending scheduled training sessions and department meetings to stay current on marketing information and industry trends. This position requires a proactive approach to customer engagement and a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and performance. You will be expected to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the marketing efforts at the resort.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations
  • Partner with the resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in
  • Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
  • Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
  • Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings
  • Keep current on marketing information and materials
  • Stay updated on industry trends and set performance goals weekly, monthly, and annually

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required
  • 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills and smart devices
