About the position

We are seeking a creative and highly motivated Social Media Manager to lead the social media presence and email marketing efforts for Beauty by Dolly, a beauty studio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty trends, experience creating engaging content, and a deep understanding of the latest social media and email marketing trends. This role involves creating visually appealing content that showcases our salon services, promotes client engagement, and drives bookings and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, ensuring brand consistency and engaging storytelling across all platforms.
  • Create and publish multiple Reels and short-form video content daily that showcases our services and highlights beauty trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, especially in the beauty industry, to ensure our content remains fresh, viral, and engaging.
  • Manage daily social media engagement, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner and building a community around our brand.
  • Collaborate with salon staff and beauty professionals to create behind-the-scenes content, tutorials, and client transformations.
  • Create, manage, and monitor email marketing campaigns, ensuring compelling content that resonates with our client base, promotes special offers, and drives bookings.
  • Analyze and report on social media and email marketing performance, using insights to improve strategies.
  • Assist in managing paid social campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and salon appointments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, with a portfolio showcasing work on Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Strong ability to create and edit engaging video content, including Reels and TikTok videos.
  • Passion for beauty trends, with an eye for detail and aesthetics in creating visually engaging content.
  • Experience managing email marketing campaigns.
  • Proficient in social media scheduling tools and basic photo/video editing software.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to communicate in the brand's voice.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using analytics tools to track performance and improve strategies.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple content streams across various channels.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating with the salon team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the beauty, health, or wellness industry.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and experience in building collaborations with influencers.
  • Experience with basic graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite.
