The Guest Service Support Expert plays a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience at The Ritz-Carlton by ensuring smooth food and beverage operations. This position involves a variety of tasks, including setting tables, assisting the kitchen, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas. The role emphasizes creating a safe and professional environment while delivering exceptional service to guests.

Responsibilities

  • Set tables and prepare dining areas for guests.
  • Assist kitchen staff in food preparation and service.
  • Clean work areas and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Uphold quality standards in service and presentation.
  • Manage the menu by reading and verifying information visually.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • No prior related work experience required, but previous experience in a food and beverage environment is preferred.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage environment is preferred.
